Upload your own 3D models to the 3D Floor Planner

Lots of you have asked for this in different ways, so we're pulling it all into one place.

The idea is simple: let designers bring their own 3D models into the floor planner and renderings. Some of you build models in SketchUp, find pieces on 3D Warehouse, or get files straight from vendors. Others have a client's existing furniture that needs to show up in the new design. Right now you're stuck with whatever's in our library, and it doesn't always match what you're actually presenting.

What we've heard you want:

• Import models from other 3D programs like SketchUp (SKP, OBJ, GLB and similar)

• Add the actual products you've selected for a client, so the render shows the real thing

• Bring in a client's existing pieces you're keeping

• A quick way to make simple custom items, like artwork or a console, from a photo

The reason comes up again and again: clients struggle to picture their space when the render shows a sofa that's "kind of like" the one you picked. Being able to show the real pieces would make 3D presentations much easier to sell.
