Listed Project Menu
It would make life SOOO much easier if, when you hover over “projects” the top of the page, it had a link to a page where EACH project is LISTED out in most recent order or alphabetical order, and THEN you click on it. I find it so frustrating that the only way to look at all of my projects is the screen with thumbnails. I feel like this is something DF has been needing for a lont, long time.
Larger Message window in Project Discussion
In “Project Discussion” please make the message window larger to write inside of so we can see more than one sentence at a time. It’s very hard to check for errors and read the whole message you’re writing if you can’t see most of it.
Patterns for specific flooring, tile, and wallpaper
It would be amazing to create patterns out of our tile, flooring and wallpaper selections. Basically, what we now have with the AI product to model but for 'flat' pieces of designs. Exactly what you can do on SketchUp.
Wallpaper Options
I would love to have some additional wallpaper selections, preferably from large vendors, such as Schumacher. The current options are very limited, many of which are outdated styles. Thanks for considering this.
"undo" on design boards
This has to be the only piece of software I use where “undo” is not an option for something just done. So many times I make a mistake on a design board, most often I delete something by accident, and I really wish that simple command would work here. Thanks!
Folders in Archived project
It would be great if we can add folders in the archived project so we can group projects by year. Ex: 2025 projects in their dedicated folder. This is a better organization for the future reference.
Duplicating boards
It would be great if the quantities in the itemized list stayed intact when duplicating a board.
Auto Background Remove
Please bring back a setting where you can automatically remove the backgrounds of uploaded images
Product Availability
It would be great if you could use products from the design boards with the floor planner and vice versa. Also, if you could create renderings from mood boards.
Adjustable Appliance Base Cabinets
This article references being able to adjust the height of base cabinets with appliances (ie. base with a dishwasher), but after going through live chat it seems this is not available. https://intercom.help/designfiles/en/articles/12944354-customize-kitchen-cabinet-sizes-in-the-3d-floor-planner I only need the height adjustable because I have a client that has a tall family and wants higher than average countertops. Even being able to adjust the thickness of the countertop would be helpful.
Bundling items in a quote, show all items and it total all the items in bundle
When bundling multiple items together that will example create a pillow, ie. workroom, fabric, trim, fill. Then on the quote the bundle can show individual items but then will show a total cost of the whole bundle. Right now, you can only see the total cost of the pillow if you only show the main items and the other items are hidden from view.
Order Tracker - Allow clickable links for tracking numbers
It would be great if there was a place that we could add the tracking links we receive when items ship so that we could easily click on them to check the status of a given shipment. I could see this going in a new field or adding it to Private Notes
Order Tracker - Entering Dates Should Update Item Status
If I put in a date that an item was shipped for example, I would like the status of that item to updated to “Shipped”. If I enter a date that the item was received in the order tracker, the status should updated to “Received”. I don’t see a reason to have to do this in two separate places.

Adding Estimates to the Project Menu
It would be helpful to have a way to send clients high-level estimates or price ranges during the early stages of a project. Quotes feel more formal and fixed, while estimates are needed to provide clients with a ballpark range before the scope and fee
Categorize and Report Project Hours by Service
I would like the ability to assign a service or project-phase category to each time entry and generate a report showing subtotals for each category. For example: Design development Sourcing and procurement Client meetings Site visits Project coordination Currently, I can view the total hours recorded for a project, but I cannot easily see how those hours are distributed across the different services or phases of the project. Ideally, the Service column could be used to categorize each time entry, with the ability to filter, sort and generate a report showing: Total hours for each service category Individual time entries within each category Overall project hours and category subtotals This would make it much easier to evaluate how time is being spent, improve future project estimates and provide clients with a clearer breakdown when needed.
Financials- Custom Report for products
Would love to look at how much volume I am doing per specific products. For ex. Lighting for the year
Removing Archived Boards from Editing Page
We have so many boards that we archive for projects but they still all show up when we are editing design boards along the bottom bar of boards. We waste a bit of time trying to find the boards we need to work on. Is it possible to change this setting so all archived design boards don’t show up along the bottom tab when editing design boards?
Financial Reports
I would like to be able to run a report by a time frame for JUST services (design fees) or JUST furnishings markup revenue — or both. The way I purchase furnishings for a client is I collect their funds then purchase on their behalf, so I’d like to be able to easily see my total earnings on a job (or for the month/year) without seeing the total I collected in an invoice, if that makes sense. It would be GREAT if the financials side was a bit more robust so we could get away from using other software, especially since I don’t have any employees yet.
