Add Invisible Walls Feature

It would be great to add an invisible wall or room divider feature to help keep the boundary of a space, especially when changing materials and colors. For instance, I was trying to change the kitchen floor to tile but it wouldn’t allow me to do that without framing the space with walls. Does this feature already exist? Perhaps I am not seeing it.
