Adding decor to bookshelves.

I have recently upgraded to the more expensive version and am unable to add and move decor around on shelves. Please see video attached. As you can see I am unable to move the books either in 3d or floorplan mode. I have been looking for a video to demonstrate but am unable to find one. What am I missing please????? I was able to do all this in my cheaper version but have upgraded and now it doesn’t work! Please help! Thanks
