Auto set order date on tracker

It would be very helpful if there was an option for an order date to be added to the tracker when you apply a payment to a PO. IF you want it to, as in some cases payment does not mean the order has been placed. For those orders that do initiate via payment, it would save a lot of time to have this automatically transfer over. A way to toggle the feature on or off either for each product or each vendor, etc would be super helpful.
