Automatic Quantity Update

When I duplicate a product, say a pillow, I have to manually update the quantity in the budget. Can this be automatic? For example, if I have 3 of the same pillow on my design, the Qty on the product list would update to 3. It's confusing when I'm designing and my running total isn't accurate.
