I would like the ability to assign a service or project-phase category to each time entry and generate a report showing subtotals for each category.
For example:
Design development
Sourcing and procurement
Client meetings
Site visits
Project coordination
Currently, I can view the total hours recorded for a project, but I cannot easily see how those hours are distributed across the different services or phases of the project.
Ideally, the Service column could be used to categorize each time entry, with the ability to filter, sort and generate a report showing:
Total hours for each service category
Individual time entries within each category
Overall project hours and category subtotals
This would make it much easier to evaluate how time is being spent, improve future project estimates and provide clients with a clearer breakdown when needed.
