Convert Invoices that are linked to Products, as opposed to only Projects to quick and easy Purchase Orders

I don’t want to compare, but QB lets you literally hit a button and your invoice or quote becomes a PO. PO’s are a major part of this business and I am hoping they get easier because right now, if there is an invoice linked to a product, but not a project, I have to hassle. Is there a way we can make this quick and easy like it would be if it were linked to a project? Thanks.
