I find it incredibly frustrating that every month I have to export my invoices from DesignFiles into Photoshop just to adjust the spacing between line items and make everything fit neatly onto a single-page PDF. Otherwise, I end up with multiple pages of invoices that could easily fit on one page with better formatting options. I wish there were more flexibility to customize the invoice layout, such as reducing the spacing between line items, adjusting font sizes, and choosing which details to display. For example, I don't always need to show separate tax and shipping fields, and I'd love the option to hide those when they're not relevant. Another feature I'd really appreciate is the ability to add my Zelle or Venmo QR code to the bottom of an invoice to make payments easier for clients. As an interior designer, presentation and aesthetics are a huge part of my business. I wish the invoice customization tools were more designer-friendly, like Canva, so I could easily adjust the layout, spacing, and overall appearance without needing another program. I spend so much unnecessary time every month editing invoices in Photoshop just to make them look professional and consistent with my brand. For a platform specifically geared toward interior designers, I feel this should be much easier and more customizable. I'd love to see DesignFiles prioritize more flexible, design-focused invoicing tools. It would save me a tremendous amount of time and make the platform much more valuable to my business.
