Move products to assets

Can we have an action on the product page to Move a product to the assets? I’ve uploaded so many items as a product when I really used it as an asset and had to hide it in my designs. This feature would automatically treat it like an asset even if it was used in an existing design. If that is too hard, allowing us to move a product that hasn’t been used in a design yet, would also help.
