Order Tracker

If I mark something ordered on the design board that's in the tracker as well, shouldn't it automatically be marked in the tracker as ordered and vs versa? Or is this something I have to manually do each time as one extra step? Also, I don’t use the PO feature. So it’s one extra step for me to have to create a PO to have it easily available in the tracker. I know I can add items individually, but there is no quick way to do this. I have to sort through every item in the project. If something is marked as ordered on the design board it should seamlessly move to the tracker in my opinion, without all these extra steps.
