Prevent Client Confusion by Displaying “Payment Pending” not outstanding balance

When a client submits a payment, the client portal currently continues to show an outstanding balance until the payment fully clears. While this makes sense on the backend, it can be confusing from a client perspective.

From the client’s point of view, once payment has been submitted, they expect the balance to no longer appear as unpaid. Seeing an outstanding balance after completing payment creates unnecessary concern and follow-up.

Suggested Improvement:
Once a payment is submitted, display a clear “Payment Pending” status in place of the outstanding balance until the payment has fully processed.
