Product status tags

It would be great if the item status tag categories on the design pages were the same categories as the ones used for POs and the tracker. Also, why don’t the tags carry through each part of design files? For example if I change an item to “ordered” on the main design page, why doesn’t that update carry through to my PO page, tracker. etc.?
