Product Tracker Closing Out

I'm working on my product tracker and everytime I change the status of an item in the product tracker it closes me out of that item and takes me back to the top of the tracking list. Is there a way to prevent this? It's extremely inefficient and makes it hard to find where I left off. Please make this a priority as it would expedite tracking tremendously and reduce frustration. Thanks!
