Product Tracker for Clients to See

It would be so helpful to have a section on EACH individual item that would allow us to enter tracking information for the client to see. We do not use the PO option in designfiles because it's time consuming and cumbersome to use especially for little orders like lightbulbs etc. It's an extra step we don't use in addition to other systems we have to use in order to track everything because designfiles doesnt have a view for the entire business (to see all orders, all tracking details, etc). That being said, we can't utilize the product tracker that exists in each project, and even if we did, the client cannot see it.

We've been putting tracking information into the comments area one each item, but we feel as though this gets mixed into other comments, and it's not consistent enough to work well (we don't always want clients to get a ton of emails every time we make a comment on tracking - we've gotten complaints about that).

If we could have a designated area per item to enter tracking updates, and have this information be used to generate a calendar or list for the client to see, it would be really helpful for them to keep track of the project themselves, and timelines. Everytime a customer asks for updates on "what will be ready by XXX date" we have to go through another system we use, like asana or our google spreadsheets in order to compile a list that we can send the client.

We'd really prefer to keep all our systems within designfiles. It would be an easy thing to integrate and would be massively helpful for a lot of designers and their clients.
