Refund and Credits

We need the ability that once a refund is created it automatically goes to a clients project to be used towards a new Invoice. I’m usually just using that money towards new product and not actually refunding it to them as the projects are on going. Just creating a refund and then going and creating a retainer makes no sense as then there is nothing to match up to the payment in quickbooks. Reps constantly telling me to ask my accountant is so unhelpful as my accountant is the one who finds this as an issue in DesignFiles since you can’t match it up I quickbooks . this also seems to be an issue people have been asking about for 3+ years and it is being ignored. Feels like most of what we ask for in here isn’t actually taken seriously…
