It would be very helpful to add a separate column in the report showing the amount paid within the selected date range — for example, “Paid This Period” or “Amount Paid in Date Range.”
This is especially important for monthly sales tax reporting. If an invoice is paid in installments, the report should show only the payment received during that specific period, not the full invoice total or total collected to date.
