Spec Document Link Field

On the product details page can you add a field that allows you to link to a products specification document? Currently when creating a project specification sheet it pulls in the product information details but you have to manually input any links to specification documents into the notes field. The problem is the link is not clickable when viewing the spec sheet in PDF format. Thanks!
