tag team member in private discussions

my favorite feature was the old ability where we use to be able to tag specific team members “@ first name etc” privately. i know now with discussions chat it can be with the team vs client in the chat format

but i haven’t found a way to tag the team members

am i missing something? really wish it was the old way and much preferred it
