There needs to be a automatic indicator on a Quote that an item has been Invoiced

Hi Team DF, I've run into this issue yet again. We have to do a lot of back checking to see if an item has been invoice from a quote. It would save hours of time to simply have an indicator of some sort that lets us know automatically when an item has been invoice. This will prevent duplication mistakes on invoicing or missing charging for items. If there's an obvious way for me to see this that I'm missing, please let me know.
