Vendor search by classification tab

I have over 100 vendors. As the contacts build I need a quick way to ID a vendor by material or product. I have to use my Google contact data base then cross over to DF to find the vendor for the product solution for the design.

This takes way too much time and I have to maintain two data bases.

Is there a way to FIND: tile, lighting, slabs, etc… faster through a vendor? Label as Trade or Retail?
