It would be super beneficial to be able to convert the measurements from the floor plan into a 2D line drawing elevation to give to contractors or vendors for eatimates.
I know that many people have already requested elevations but if we can't have that yet can we at least get it so there is a list of the types of cabinets used? Like how the mod board has all the details of each item below could we use that same concept and underneath a floor plan it has a tally of (6) 36" 3 drawer base cabinets, (5) 42"Upper cabinets etc.
Our studio would love the ability to do interior elevations with Design Files - even if it just a straight on view created while using the 3D tools! Is this a feature that is coming?

As an interior designer, I concur that elevations are essential for every project, large and small. My aspiration is that Design Files evolves to include more capabilities similar to AutoCAD, as I prefer to utilize one platform.
Please add Elevation Drawing capabilities to DF. As I design many custom built-ins, I need to create detailed elevations for contractors and millworkers in addition to floor plans and kitchen layouts.
I’ve requested this for years, but trying again. PLEASE! I love DF, but I really need the opportunity to do elevations to send to my cabinet makers and contractors. As of now, I need to hand write in the dims, which looks bad even when using the text/line tools, or I need to outsource drafting, and in that case I’m doing twice the work bc I have to still tell the drafter the dims.
DesignFiles,it would AMAZING if you could offer ways for us to create accurate elevation drawings. This platform is great for conceptual but once the project is ready to move forward we need to get a little more technical.
