Client Side "Welcome: How to get around" Video
It would be valuable for DesignFiles to provide a standardized client onboarding experience within the Client Portal.
Specifically, we'd love to see DesignFiles create a default "Welcome: How to get around" video that introduces clients to the portal, explains where to find key information, how to communicate with their designer, and what to expect throughout the project.
To make this even more effective:
Allow designers to upload or embed their own welcome videos if they want to personalize the experience.
Include a DesignFiles-produced onboarding video by default for every client.
Automatically play the welcome video the first time a client visits the Client Portal (or after they click through from their first invitation email), with the option to rewatch it later.
This would create a much smoother onboarding experience for clients, reduce confusion and support questions, and help every client get familiar with the platform from day one, regardless of whether their designer creates custom onboarding content.

Client Demos
Would there be a way to have a recorded video that we can brand with our design info that guides or walks clients through their portal so they know what to expect and how to operate the program on their end. I say branded to us because I have had four clients try to find out what my software is because they didn’t want to pay me as their designer they wanted to know what my program was to do it themselves. This video would be a general video that we can send to the clients in a welcome or onboarding email. Thank you for the consideration.

Design Files Client Usage Video Direct to Client
Would it be possible to have a video created to be able to send to Client’s to be able to send to them during the Design Process? I would love to be able to send them something in advance so they know how to access everything.

I would use a client walkthrough for DesignFiles all the time for new clients. You could even have various videos depending on the how much / little a designer is using in the platform. You could start with just a quick easy overview, then go into more. My only ask is that you please talk slower! Thanks for considering!

Video Presentations
I always record a walk-through style video presentation of my designs for my clients and submit it to them along with their design. I have been using zoom to record these videos and then uploading them to YouTube and sharing the link for them to view.
It would be nice to have a space within the platform to save these videos for client’s to watch.

I had to use design files video
I was wanting to know if you guys can create a how to use design files presentation video that we can send to our clients are used to be able to do that on myDoma And I think it would be a wonderful feature because I always have clients. Want to know the exact details on how to work it in a presentation video. It would just be a lot simpler on my end and I’m sure other designers and if we had a video to send them.

Client onboarding tutorial
It would be great if there was a tutorial video we could share with our client regarding how to use the platform, it is not intuitive that htey need to actually click on the images to see description and the carousel requires a bit of scrolling to get to.

My clients do not understand how to log on, how to use it. You all make such great tutorials for us designers, PLEASE make a tutorial on how Clients can use Design Files. How to log on
what website to go to and how to use their email and password, just as if they are checking things in their bank account they go to the website and log in, it’s the same with Design Files
once there, tour around, showing where to find things, especially tricky things like Retainers, as my clients can never find their Retainers
also let them know that if they have no invoices, there will not be an “Invoice” tab at the top (or Attachments, or Contracts, etc)
how to use Project Discussion, as well as the little speech bubble next to products
etc

Instruction or video for clients
I would like to see a simple instruction sheet or link that goes out when we "submit" to client. I have several clients that aren't tech savvy and struggle to get signed up.

This would be great! My Clients have a lot of problems getting around system and cannot see the product list that I am constantly putting them into PDF format and sending .. which can be time consuming..so this would be excellent.
