Invoices-Multiple Payments

I love to create one large Invoice with products, design fee, electric, woodwork, etc on one Invoice so that clients have a true full amount. I would love to see multiple payments (other than a deposit and remaining) in one place so that clients can track easier. I have had several clients ask if I had already invoiced them for something that was not yet because of multiple Invoices.
